Students in all year groups took their chance to vote for their Student Parliament . The library was absolutely buzzing as students lined up at the door ready to be let in! After electing Student Council representatives for their year groups, council met last week to develop individual manifestos and promote themselves for a Parliamentary seat. There is only one seat available per year group, so the position comes with a lot of responsibility!

A huge thank you to all of the students in last year’s school council who helped to set up the Polling Station, register to vote forms and ballot papers: Hannah, Logan, Sophie, Robert, Mena and Leah. Also a special mention to Mrs Temperton, local councillor and Chair of Curriculum , who provided us with real ballot boxes and voting booths to create a realistic experience.
