What a fantastic first day for our Year 7 students!  They looked incredibly smart in their uniforms and approached the day with great enthusiasm.
Year 7 were  welcomed to KAEP with an assembly delivered by their Head of Year, Mr Ayliffe. They were also addressed by Mr Hall, Head of School, who outlined his values and vision for their time at KAEP.
Students have also spent time with their tutors, received their timetables, and completed a short round of assessments. These required no preparation and were nothing for students to be concerned about. In the afternoon, they attended their first lessons.
Please be aware that students have been given their ClassCharts logins in paper format (so please check their bags!) as they do not yet have access to their school emails. Using these details, they will be able to login on either a mobile phone or home computer to view their timetable and any positives awarded.  Parents should already have received their own login details by email today.
A really busy first day and we can’t wait to welcome them back tomorrow!
A quick reminder please can we ensure that all students bring a reading book to school every day and that socks should be black or navy colour.
Thank you for your support in helping your child make such a positive start to secondary school.
