Report an Absence

If a student will not be able to attend school, then we request that parents please email attendance@kgaeasthampstead.uk or call 01344 390824 at the earliest opportunity.

Attendance is monitored by staff, and reported to parents via the ClassCharts app. Students should also download the app to track their attendance. If a student does not attend a lesson without prior agreement or communication with the attendance officer and class teacher, then their tutor / Director of Sixth form will follow this up. 

Students are expected to maintain an attendance of at least 95%. They need to attend ALL tutor sessions and prep sessions as well as timetabled lessons (including private study periods)

KAEP6 students must sign in and out via their own KAEP6 entance using their own personal entry card.

Lanyards must be carried at all times for safeguarding. Lost lanyards will be replaced at a cost of £7.50 .

Research shows that the higher your  attendance, the better you perform and the more you improve your life opportunities.
