Child Protection Officer

Salary: KGA05 (points 6 to 9), FTE £27,202 to £28,968 per annum, starting on £14.10 per hour

Actual Starting Salary: £22,850 per annum inclusive of London Weighting and Holiday Entitlement

 Core Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm (4.30pm on Fridays) including 40 minute and 20-minute unpaid breaks.  Term time including Inset Days plus 6 days’ equivalent to 44.5 hours (the additional hours are in support of attending social services meetings during holiday time which cannot be set).

Start date: As soon as possible

Although most work will be during these hours some flexibility would be required for after school or evening meetings which you would manage within your working week in agreement with your Line Manager.

We are seeking an organised Child Protection Officer to support our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and contribute to the vital work of our Safeguarding Team.

In this vital role, you will work on the frontline of student welfare, ensuring that every child in our care has a safe environment in which to learn and thrive. This is a chance to be a consistent, supportive presence for our students when they need it most.  If you have a background in education, social care, or youth work and possess the emotional resilience to handle complex situations with empathy and professionalism, this role is for you.

Cover Supervisor

Salary: KGA05-6 – £20,380 per annum (£14.10 per hour) including London Fringe and Holiday Entitlement.

33 hours per week: 8.45am to 4.15pm 3 days a week and 3.15pm finish on 2 days (with 30 minutes unpaid break), term-time only

We are currently seeking a keen and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our school. Cover Supervisors play a very important role in the school by leading classes and facilitating learning in the event of a teacher being absent from school. The role is very varied and involves delivering cover lessons that have been planned by subject specialists, using the resources that a teacher has provided. The role may suit a recent graduate keen to broaden their skillset and possibly consider a career in teaching. Alternatively, the role may suit someone who has prior experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant, and is keen for a new challenge!
